Grades 9-12
Meets Friday nights at 6:30pm in the Youth Center
Both ministries are geared toward helping young
people live a victorious Christian life. Each meeting includes a time of worship, the teaching of the Word, and fellowship with other believers.
The youth are taught the importance of applying Biblical truths to their own lives. An emphasis is put on Psalm 92:13 which states that “those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
The youth are encouraged to bless others by using their talents and abilities in the church’s ministry of helps. There is also plenty of time for the youth to strengthen and build godly friendships.
The junior youth group meeting often includes a fun and “crazy” game. Junior youth groupers will want to come to their meetings wearing something that can be laundered easily!
Our senior youth group has enjoyed trips to the
movies, miniature golf, and restaurants. Trips to Kingdom Bound and Cedar Point add to the fun.
Both youth groups also enjoy plenty of exciting activities at their youth house including video games, air hockey, foosball, ping pong, and pool.
